I took some pics of some military training and now I'm trying to put them to CD and have them display in a certain order. I've re-named them 1.jpg,2.jpg,3.jpg etc. but, they still keep coming up in another order. Not sure why? Anybody know what I need to change to make them display in the order I want? Thanks for any help.

some common mistakes i used to make:
1. naming the images 1,2,3 instead of 001, 002, 003
2. forgot to turn off the "display randomly" setting on the image viewer |

It's computer-ese. Instead of nameing them 1.jpg, 2.jpg. etc, name them with 3 or 4 digits ie 0001.jpg, 0002.jpg then they will display in correct order. Otherwise a computer will think 1.jpg, 11.jpg,2.jpg, etc and put them in that order |

what image viewer are you using to display the images?
if you only meant the listing display on windows explorer, try #1, or what Egor said, it's the same thing. Hope this helps

ok, that wasn't in my own "common mistakes" list, but you're damn right - check that first before anything else! lol
