I'm a Bears fan, so be aware that the following comments are biased:

Bears will win because:
1. They thrive on being the underdogs. Look what they did to the favored Saints.
2. Their defense will be fully rehabilitated by game time. They'll be all over the Colts like flies on a turd.
3. Once again, Rex Grossman will manage the offense just well enough to win the game. For pete's sake, they Bears offense scored ALL the points against the Saints except for the Safety.

I'll think of a few more reasons later, but I'll throw in a score prediction:

Bears win, 31-17

I really think the colts will stomp the bears. I think the bears have a good team and beat my saints pretty badly but IMO nobody prepares like Peyton and given two weeks he will light them up.

Hmmmm....I'm pretty sure the Bears were favored in the Championship game....they even had you believing they were the underdogs.

I think it's going to be something like this. Maybe it won't show up quite like that in the box score but I think the Colts will just have the Bears on their heels throughout the game like they had the Pats in the second half last week.

I'll split the difference with you on that. The day before the game, the line was Bears by 2. Considering that home teams are often given a 3-point boost just for playing at home, one could argue that a 2 point line actually amounted to a nod toward the Saints, but I split hairs....

Payton will be doing new tv commercials when this game is over....maybe that will take his mind off of losing to the soon to be superbowl champs...da bears!

People, people...you are killing me!

Colts are superior in every aspect, but special teams. That's right.

1. Other than Urlacher, there defense is just good. Not great. They were giving up mid-20s a game for the last 8 games of season or something.

2. The Bears didn't play one team on the level the Colts all year. The NFC is the Eastern Conference of the NFL. No Baltimore, no Chargers. They played the Pats, but that was early when Bears were on fire and Pats were royally sucking. And they still on won by 3 points.

3. Big games always come down to two things: Desire and Experience. And honestly, I bet the Colts are desperate to win and hands down have more experience.

Prediction: 27-17 --- but the Bears will never feel like they are in it.

Even if it was just 1 point...the Bears were favored to win...that means the Saints were the underdogs in this match.

Officially......Da Bears -because my Eagles are out and my husband is from Chicago!
Unofficially....I love Payton Manning and would like to see him win a Super Bowl ring. He is a deserving QB.

Colts all the way baby...da Bears be a bust this go-round, and they are not deserving....the two guys in the stand that flipped the camera off during their last game are proof enough of that...did anyone see that?

I beg to differ on the deserving...both teams earned their ticket to the superbowl by winning their respective conference. The stupidity and immaturity of the fans have nothing to do with it. I am sure we could go thru the tapes and find a few idiots sitting in the Colts stands as well. That can be said for all teams.

For those living in Florida or traveling to Florida, especially if you are traveling from Indiana, beware of the storm heading that way.

I hate the colts, because John Elway hates them. I don't know why, I just do what John Elway says.

At the same time the bears are just sort of ho hum.

I am really looking forward to the Career Builder commercials however. Monkeys are cool.

Dude! You had me worried. My wife is actually going to Miami with her mom this weekend, for a week. I was worried that there was a big storm or something. I didn't even notice the gag on the thumbnail. When I opened the full sized image, I spat some goobies on my monitor at work when I saw the bear in the storm. LOL
