These are the highlights from my Winter Break back in VT. I wasn't able to get a lot of shooting in, but when I was able, I tried to push my limits and experiment with some new, or at least different, things.
This first batch is from a portrait shoot with my best friend. We didn't really have a goal in mind, except for me to practice with lighting and for her to have a new Facebook photo. We did a couple of different poses, and I rather liked these.
These three are part of the same nightime experiment I posted about in this thread some time ago. They were shot at night, during the full moon, and were my first real experiment with RAW and HDR processing.
This final set are a few of the shots from the local airport. My dad is a pilot and was demoing a Gulfstream G-150, and invited me along to take some shots. After the usual ones of he and I posing in front of the aircraft, I captured these as they taxied out and took off. I dream of being an aircraft photographer some day, and would like nothing better, so hopefully this is the start of that!
Anyhow, I wanted to share these with you all, as I'm rather proud of them, and view them as part of my continued growth and betterment as a photographer. And to that end, I'd appreciate any comments you might have - please be honest, even if it is brutal ;-)
Enjoy!
