I am looking for a site that will let me share some of my photos from my sons ball games.
I would like to easily be able to select 30-50 photos and download them without having to resize each and everyone for the web.
Right now I have been resizing to email photos to parents and grandparent.
I have also been burning some to dvds to give out.
I would like to see if a photo sharing site will make thing faster and easier for me and everyone else that would like to view the photos.
What are some photo sharing sites I should check out?
As for posting this in the business forum I thought maybe I could put my contact info on the site for prints or other jobs. :)
Just a thought...

Smugmug
Although some say pricy at $150/year.....if you are going to sell prints and want the website to llok like your it is well worth the money........and you have me if you need some help customizing.
You can always go the cheap route and not go all the way yet and then just upgrade as you see fit.

Flickr's free package is amazing in its allowances for bandwidth IMO. |

I checked out flickr before and it's just not what I was looking for.
@rex
smugmug looks awesome!
I signed up for the free 14 day trial and I downloaded some software that lets me right click on a folder and send the whole folder to smugmug, wow!!
The other parents will be able to not only view the photos but order prints too. :)
I am downloading a file with 105 photos/ 243mb from my laptop with wifi.
It is taking about a minute or longer for each photo, but it's nice I don't have to do five at a time or have a size limit.
I often come home from a game and edit out the bad photos then save the good ones to a file on the two computer and back up to a cd rom.
It's going to be great to be able to click on the same folder I just created of the game and send it all to smugmug.
This can be done at night just before I go to bed so it won't matter how long it take. Then all the other parents can view the photos the very next day.
Awesome stuff, thanks!! :) |

John thank you for the referral and let me know if you need any help....Did you go Pro?
If so check out what I have done to my site......
Also keep in mind you can password protect any gallery, and if you did go pro the site is fully customizable and a great resource is //www.dgrin.com
I learned a lot from there on how to code in CSS and get my site the way I want it.
All the features are listed here.
//www.smugmug.com/price/
I would not recommend smugmug if I didn't believe in it 100%. They are a great bunch of people and are working hard to add features users request.

Your site looks great.
I just did the 14 day trial. I did not pick pro yet, but from what understand I can decide at the end of my 14 day trial.
I am just uploading the photos now and will be at it all afternoon. :)
I like that it's so automatic for me.
Here is the link //pahl.smugmug.com
I sure hope the other parents like it too..
