Does anyone know of a way to transfer the thumbnails from the Organizer in Elements to the Bridge in CS2?
Thanks! |

Don't have an answer but is there a reason you don't just point Bridge at the folder and have it build the thumbnails it needs?

The usual way to use Bridge is to browse to a folder of images and Bridge will look at them then build thumbnails and high quality previews. But I'm not sure this is what you're asking. If you're asking to import the organizational features of Organizer there is no way to do that as Bridge isn't really designed to be that type of program.

Yup - that was exactly what I was trying to ask! (If there was a way to import the thumbnails from Organizer to Bridge). Of course Adobe wouldn't make it easy or possible to do... Thanks for answering!

If you have CS2 why are you using the organizer or Elements. Use Bridge to view thumbs and info and let Bridge open the photo in PS CS2. Dump Elements all-to-gether if you have Bridge and PS CS2. Good luck

I just upgraded from Elements to CS2. That's why I wanted to know if there was a way to import the thumbnails from the Organizer to the Bridge. It looks like I'll most likely have to uninstall Elements and then re-load and organize all of my pics since there doesn't seem to be a way to import the thumbnails, tags, keywords, etc.
