Nexus/Foundation for Today's Art, an artist run, non profit gallery space dedicated to supporting local emerging and experimental artists engaged in new art practices is currently accepting applications for its bi-annual membership review. Artists working in all mediums are welcome and artists whose work may fall outside of traditional gallery practices are strongly encouraged to apply (film, interactive, performance, audio, fashion, etc.) Collaborative teams may also apply.
Member artists receive a solo exhibition every two years as well as numerous other exhibition and curatorial opportunities.
Responsibilities of membership include $50 monthly dues, gallery sitting and committee work.
A jury composed of the current Nexus artist membership reviews applications.
Applicants cannot be presently enrolled in school and must live within a 50 mile radius of Philadelphia

NOTE: Digital submissions are acceptable, images should be saved in JPG format at 150 pixels per inch and should be named in the following format -"yourname-image #.jpg. Other formats, such as film or digital media should be provided on CD or DVD with 10 individual selections.
