I finished up with the pre-deployment training today and came away with some VERY spectacular stuff. I've never had the problem of TOO many good shots to choose from before. For those with queezy stomaches BEWARE there is a double amputee that was used for training purposes and it's pretty realistic. This was by far the best training I have ever seen. Segal Studios ( I think is the name of the place) is paid by the military to set this place up and run it for the Military. Nobody gets inside info on what will happen or where. It is a fly by the seat of your pants, high speed training session and it really kept me on my toes as far as the action level.

I have over 750 shots and maybe 8% is crap. I will try to get as much as I can up but I am a little brain dead right now. Not only form running high speed for two days straight I stepped into an IED and was tossed for a good ringer. I had some hair on my neck and back of my melon singed and my bell was rang pretty good. If you see the truck bomb, it was similar to that one and I wondered into it at almost full speed trying to get around a building for a shot of a crowd attacking the Marins. OOOPS They pretty much laughed, called me some female parts and said to get up or get out. I brushed of my gear while I couldn't hear anything except a giant telephone ringing that know one would answer and kept shooting. I had a blast and I've been invite back anytime so if your in the neigborhood and want to go check it out, get a hold of me. Enjoy the shots.

The blue-taped rifles are M4-RAMs, right? If you're not familiar, the RAM is the 'Real Action Marker'... a very realistic looking paintball gun. Their face masks are part of why I think that.

The red-capped look like MILES gear shooting blanks.

Just curious - don't misunderstand - aren't there restrictions on you posting these on the web?

What I'd really like to see are shots of you wandering into that IED!!!!!

Thanks for the feed back

Chimericvisions- yes those are in fact RAMS and their VERY painful when you get hit. It's essentially a 9mm shell with a tiny painball projectile

Nards656- I've been granted full acces and the military is fully aware of what my intentions were with the photos before I started. There are some photos I will not post because of the training details that were photographed. This is not because of any restrictions they placed on me it's more my call out of repsect and I'll be emedded with them so, I don't want the wrong people to see how they resond in certain situations. They recently had a film crew from Discovery do a story and they diluted the training for them to film. I feel very priveledged to get the opportunity to shoot real training with no restrictions.

Goldberry- They have video footage of me being blown up. I just need to contact the person resonsible for the footage and try to get a copy. That may prove to be near impossible since it's considered military training footage.
