You may or may not be familiar with my ongoing occasional 50 Days project. I'm in the planning stages for a fourth season. This alone is new, since I've never actually really "planned" it before, but the planning is really only in the sense that I want to take this thing to the next level. Over the last year, it's gathered a neat little cult following amongst friends, family, and strangers, and I'd guess that number to be around 100-150 who view it daily when it's on.
This time out, I want to shoot it with the idea in mind that all fifty photos are going into a show once it's over. I've already approached a gallery where the management knows me to see if they'd be interested in hosting it, though I don't have an answer back from them yet. It doesn't much matter where I end up showing it, but I gave them first dibs since they're who I know.
Logistically, I'm thinking of framed 8X8s with placards containing the "blog" text. I'm also considering getting some Moo cards done for promos - see Flickr if you don't know what those are, they're kinda cool. But beyond that, I have no ideas about what I can or should do for such a thing, materials-wise. I was considering putting together a book through blurb.com, but I think almost $50 for a rather slim softcover book is way too cost prohibitive. Any ideas would be grand.
