Left a couple. Overall, these are precious and fun snapshots. If you want more wall-hangable portraits, lose the bib and improve the lighting in the are you are shooting and work out the focus issues. Also take LOTS of shots to get one or two really good captures. :)

What a little cutie she is! I hope you don't mind Jan, had a play with the 2nd image in ps. I wanted to see how it would look without the distraction of the colours.

Yeah ... she is cute and the lighting is pretty cool ... I especially like the expression you captured in the first one.

Could I suggest trying having the background WELL behind her for some DOF and bokeh to really make her come forward? Instead of having her against the backdrop maybe you could set her on the floor and get down there with her and shoot with a good distance between her and a constrasting (either lighter or darker) background. If you can manage with a fairly closed fstop the background will blur into almost nothing.

Keep it up ... looking good.
