Hi, I have a 5D. And it simply doesent turn on.
Few days ago I figured out the date and time battery must be out becouse the date allways fell out...
Yesterday I was going to turn it on an it simply said won't.
So I charged the batterys and changed the d&T battery aswell. And it doesen't turn on!
I checked the battery, it's right in it, tryed with tifferent batterys and CF cards. I also made shore the D&T battery is correct in it.
Does anyone have a solution for me ?

Unfortunately, it looks like it's time to call Canon. When did you purchase the body?

In May 2006.
It's strange becouse tha manual says the D&T battery should last much longer... |

I've had mine since September 2005, and it's still on the original date/time battery. It definitely sounds like there's a problem. Since you're still under warranty, give Canon a call and have it serviced. |

Panic, perhaps cry ... that would have been my first responses.
Good to hear you are still under warranty.
