Judi,

i am not sure if you took it the wrong way , i was just teasing.
i love your work, and i think you are one of the most daring photogs. on this website, and since i am an amateur photog i can only lookup to your work and hope that one day i will be as good.

otherwise nikon rules!

and to keep the the topic of the post , i have the same "problem" where the image loads great then it turn to the original raw file, i think it is the small jpeg preview.
if you want that type of settings use the auto fix all tool and in my understanding it should fix the settings accodring to the camera settings when it was taken, i don't use it at all because i prefer setting my own white balance with the dropper.

cheers,

I have always had the same problem. If I convert it using any of the conversion software available including CS2 then when I view the converted and adjusted RAW file in PS it is way too dark. I have been trying to find out what the problem is and no-one has ever been able to help me. Even if I open the RAW file in CS2 work on it to make it the way I want it to look, when I send it to PS to work on the opened converted file it is at least 2 stops darker. Happens with DPP, Raw Shooter Essentials, Raw Shooter Premium and Lightroom. It Raw Shooter it looks good for the first few seconds then goes two stops lighter.

Hahaha...I knew you were! But honestly Rawshooter is the only programme I use for converting my Raw Nikon.
