These are some picture from all directions. some taken in Iceland and some taken in Gran Canaria. I need to know what picture is the best ?

Like comparing apples to oranges - they are just too different.
It I should pick one for a print to hang on my wall it would be the first or the last...

I agree its hard to choose, being they are all different. I guess depending on the purpose for your need to know.
To hang on my wall it would be #1.
but for say a ad it would be #4.

I agree: They are all "best" for different purposes. The first one is so clean and artistic. The 2nd one is like an extreme "moment" that makes you go "wow", even tho maybe it's not technically perfect as far as exposure and lighting. The 3rd is one of those emotive portraits that everyone loves, although my tastes would prefer a little tighter crop around her (but that may be just me and not because that's preferred photography); and the last is a stunning "Outdoor Photographer" magazine cover landscape. All wonderful for different reasons and for different purposes.
Why do you ask? Are you thinking of entering one in some sort of competition? If so, then I would say technically and artistically, the 1st or last have the edge.

| Thanks for comments. I just want to know witch one i should send to the school paper, it´s a kind of photography contest for the paper. |

The first one is definetly my favourite. It hints at elegance, but also makes you wonder what caused it. The abstract nature really makes you think. It is not just a photo of an object, but a thought as well as an action.
