I took this shot last week when it was very gloomy out and raining. I stood just inside my door with my camera on a tripod and took some shots ... I like this one the best. Focal length = 380 mm at F3.7 and 1/25 sec.

Rain Triplets

What do you think of it?

P.S. Very close to Basic Editing Rules on this one but for a TINY clone out of an annoying highlight in the background.

looks good although i would have liked to have seen a droplet in mid motion as there is just not enough going for it to be really interesting, plus it's lacking a bit of sharpness but definitely a good idea and attempt... there's nothing like a rainy day to get a bit of practice in! ;o)

None of the three droplets stand out to me as being a center of attention so my eyes constantly drift between the three. Unfortunately, that means one of the first things I noticed about this image is the large amount of noise in the background visible in the center bottom (between the three drops). There are a few things I'd try to do. Sharpen the drops (as already suggested) to try to stop my eyes from moving around. Run this through a noise reduction program to cut out some of the noise in the background.
