Yeah I know its easy, but I just can't figure it out.

I have a 20" imac.

I don't have any additional software, do I need it?

Cheers in advance,

If you have OSX, you don't need anything else.

yea thats what the MAC guy told me but when I put in a dvd it doesnt create an icon, a pop up comes up and says choose an option from the popup menu or click ignore. Its meant to just come up as an icon yeah?

Even to eject the disc I have to open "disk Utility"

Choose "open in finder." That will enable you to drag copy and burn.

I just right click on my desktop, create a New Burn Folder, drop what I want to burn into the folder, right click on the Burn Folder and choose Burn Disc .. pop in the DVD and you are done.
