Does anybody use LumaPix Fotofusion to create the layout design for your wedding albums (digital coffe table and that type of albums)?

Do you know any other software to do this type of album design layout?

Because the company that does my albums stopped doing the page layout desight, and it's keepeeng me in the computer all the time in Photoshop doing this intead of beeng shooting.

Any other solutions that you've encoutered? Please share your experience and ideas.

I love Fotofusion. For what it's used for, it is many times faster than doing the same thing in Photoshop. If you haven't tried version 4 yet, take a look. Version 3 was amazing... version 4 is astounding.

I think fotofusion is nice software, but beware of their means of copy protection (it checks your license every "N" times over the internet). Those kind of protection schemes may lead to trouble down the road.

(Adobe PS CS is not much better--I've had it require me to reactivate about 3 times since I installed it one or two years ago. The most recent was yesterday. I haven't installed any hardware, except for external USB devices which come and go. It was running one day, and then required reactivation the next, not much happening in between. Now if it had been a holiday, and it refused to activate because of the "# of times" it has already happened, I would have lost access to it for the day or worse, longer.)

Another option is FlipAlbum (//www.flipalbum.com/products/fa/)

(I have that software but haven't had time to use it much, but it looks nice!)

If you search the threads about Fotofusion, we've had this discussion before, so you will find the thoughts of others...

i LOVE fotofusion. even with its quirks, after weighing the pros and cons, i decided to go with it, and have never regretted it. it has allowed me to do some killer posters that i never would have had the patience to do any other way. i highly recommend it.
