Thanks for the comments. We could have a lively discussion about the last photo and lighting. Sometime perhaps.
Until then, it is inspirational to call this my temporary home and to have a chance to attempt to capture what I see each day. Several DPC folks will be visiting over the next few months ... (digital) "Film at 11:00."
Maybe one of these will be good enough for "the wall." |

Yup! - I bought them a brand new basking platform at the weekend (from Newlands garden centre, on that wet Saturday morning) - and they love it.
That's an impressive photo blog you've got, very detailed and well-written. Mine is more along the lines of taking a photo in the pub with the camera phone and clicking the 'Blog Now' button... ;-)

Hi Jacob, thanks for the post I really appreciate you thinking of me.
Sadly, no good news to report here :o( I am starting new medication tomorrow which is going to mean I can not do my normal daily things like taking photos so I am feeling really down at the moment. Will keep checking back here when I can and posting updates for you. Your support means a lot to me. Hope to see some more around the world shots too.
