I have a legal question. Can someone take photos of a well known act at a venue that allows photography and sell the prints?

I posted the same question in business of photography section.

Only if you have model releases. Taking the pictures is no issues, selling them is. You must have model releases to sell pictures of people for anything but editorial use.
