I got my new fuji s9000 for Christmas. I was called into the bathroom to take a picture of my father in law who put to much bubble bath into a bubble tub. The bubbles were so high you could only see the top of his head. The camera fogged up but it seems to be ok. How bad is this for the camera and do you think it will cause any harm later on. I let it dry out.

The S9000, not having an interchangeable lens, is relatively "sealed". I don't expect you'll have any problems at all. I wouldn't expect problems out of any camera in that situation, actually. Just condensation that needs to evaporate.

When I had my 6900Z, I visited a butterfly house at Longleat House in Wiltshire, UK. As you can guess, going from a relatively normal summer day in UK, cool and overcast! into a butterfly house caused the Fuji to fog up quite a lot. However, once outside, it was okay. Never had any problems. |
