True, very true sir...and hopefully the voters will get a bit happier or drunker before this is over......(note to self: stick with landscapes...)

No, Agaricus, I still haven't gotten above 4, so I am going to give you some real competition for that brown, and like you say, no comments. I have looked again, and I am still not seeing why the image should be getting hammered, is it a great image, no... but not down in the 3's... sigh, a very long week.

| I was going to say that I was extremely dissapointed in my 4.4 score, but it seems there are more than usual low scores, so I won't complain just yet. I know my shot isn't anywhere near ribbon territory, but I was at least hoping for a 5.5. |

| I've seen some great photos as I went through this set for the first time. It's going to be interesting to see how the voting comes out. I'm not very good at picking the ribbon winners most of the time but there are quite a few remarkable shots- some traditional, and other people took a real chance and I think they came up with some very unique perspectives- which also worked. Great job! This is my favorite category of photos, I'm going to enjoy going through all these again. |

I think you're right, I've dropped half a point in the last half hour. The bad thing was/is it wasn't that high to start with- hoping to end up with 5.5. Sometimes it's interesting to see what other people's Average Vote Cast is sometimes- maybe I'm too generous, but I hate to slam people. |

see the avg vote cast of user with id next to my user id
(myuser id +1)
last time i saw she had 3.x avg vote cast. (hope that has improved now).
Worst was once she created lot of scene on forum for somebody giving her low vote and a comment.

Which brings up a good question- (this is like keeping stats for baseball) who has the lowest Avg Vote Cast with more than say 5,000 votes. I wonder if there is a way to figure that out. Might be scarey to see. The person above me by 1 hasn't voted but I'm going to go until I find someone who has. You're right about trolls - they do exist. |

well here is my situation, i got a comment complementing the pic and then they gave me a 4 , so go figure!
i would rather have a comment saying it's a bad pic and give me a 9 or something! |
