Anyone out there had any experience of problems with canon printers, specifically the i9100?

Half way through a print the thing flickered its little light and stopped printing. I reset it by switching off the power and rescheduling the print. It seamed OK but now refuses to print anything through the black channel. All the colours are good.

I replaced the print head with a brand new component, but no difference, still no black.

Any ideas? - The canon repair guy is scheduled to look at it but just wondered if anyone had previous experiencfe of this.

I am having the same problem with my i9100. what happened with your situation??
