OK, I'll make new cards for everyone :)

If you have a picture that you'd prefer I used to replace the current one then post a link to it here.

I'll update the ribbon count and averages etc. If anyone has more suggestions on changes then let me know. I like the animated gif idea that some of the other teams used eg:

Any ideas for that style? Should we do a similar thing?

PS: I think that the current member & open challenges are the ones for round 1 so we need to make sure that we all have at least one entry. Remember the fiasco last season?

I'd rather not have animated Gifs, I think they get annoying. But if that is what everybody else wants, than so be it.

It is the sum of the teams ribbons. We all need more I say. Zoomdak contributes almost half of them himself! How about we commit to each get 1 ribbon within the DPL season, that should spread them out nicely ;)

I think the logo still needs some work to give it some pizazz in the area below Art's gun so suggestions are welcome.

Now this gets me thinking too, since we cannot vote on each other's pictures, we can now safely (I'm guessing) critique and give suggestions for improvement beforehand. I think it's a great way to improve our photography and improve our scores. Thoughts?

Nuzzer and I have been doing that all along. I suggested it last year and got a mixed reaction.

It has been helpful for both me and Nuzzer. We never voted on each other's entry. I thknk we may be able to use our DPL forum for this once they are created Sunday night. I'm not 100% sure though.

Ummm, I'm a little confused now. I think it starts with the next member challenge to be announced.

I believe the intention is to be able to use our team forum (the one created this weekend) to share and critique entries before voting. Langdon seems to realise that if he allows this and stops us voting on each others entries then he removes a lot of room for cheating.

I've updated the trading cards. Below is the code to paste into your signature after you have replaced all ('s with ['s and )'s with ]'s (because if I left the square brackets in then DPC would have shown the images. These are still a work-in-progress so if you have any suggestions please let me know. If you have the code in your sig from last time then the new images will appear, the only change is that the order of members is now slightly different as averages have changed.

Here's an idea as far as critiques for each other's photos before challenge:
I could set up a photo blog/gallery on a sub set of my website, and hand out the link and member status to only Trigger Happy members. Then we could upload pictures and get critiques like that without any fear that other DPC members could not see them.
What do you think?

I'd prefer this as it keeps everything on DPC and it's one less place I need to check. As David mentioned, we have been doing this for a while now but using AIM to communicate rather than a closed forum.

If I am wrong and we dont have a closed forum then your idea is good and we should use it.

5.8812 was her average last night. It's now 5.8811. I guess that's due to an in-voting image but I took all averages from a snapshot last night.
