IF we had had an entry in the ill-fated round then this round we would have scored as follows:

Zoomdak = 6.7472
Art = 0.0000
scarbrd = 6.9319
mad_brewer = 5.5250
Strikeslip = 5.6279
silverfoxx = 0.0000
Nuzzer = 0.0000

WPL score = 6.2080

So we would have LOST to "The F/Stops Here!" who scored 6.5085

I would have felt very bad if it had been the other way ;)

kudos to Nuzzer for his Yellow in a Free Study!!!! His third!

I like this trend, Slippy gets the reds, Nuzzer gets the yellows, leaves the blues for me.

If I could ever shoot something blue worthy!

scarbrd, you're SO overdue for a whole whack of blue ribbons! I take your comment as a good sign that you'll participate on this team for DPL? :-))

Nuzzer, you da man! A yellow in a Free Study is worth a Blue-plus-plus in any other challenge. Way to go!

Now that I have my 100-400 with IS, I'm feeling new and giddy all over again. :-D

I just finished an eight hour drive back from my brother's place, where I got the most beautiful shot in my life which I'm secreting away for the April Free Study. It'll probably score a 5, though, as it's not really suited to this audience of Philistine pigs, but it's definitely getting blown up to poster size and going up on a wall! Oh yeah, got the shot with my new 100-400 lens. :-))

Thanks, I can't believe it myself!

Being honest, neither logo jumps out at me but of the two, I prefer the second one. Perhaps replace the shadowed text with some clip-art or something...a blue ribbon even? Your thoughts?
