Okay, so I work at a newspaper and I do the photography there and that's one thing, but I have a friend who wants me to take maternity pics of her on Friday and quite frankly I'm pretty nervous. I'm getting ready to take some classes and what not b/c I want to be able to do my own photography thing someday, but that doesn't help me with this. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do for these photos or any tips on taking them in general. I need help..

*bump*
I guess no one has any advice?

Have you read through any of the material already available in the forums? I just did a quick search on "maternity" and there are several threads with advice and examples. Maybe a read through of those will help you get started.

(A more specific thread title might help, as well.)

Search through this site to get some ideas. There are some very good maternity pics here.

I've never done maternity shots, but I have done friends and family.

It's hard because they know you, but as long you can communicate your ideas (sketch or show them an example works well) this will help. I also ask if they have any ideas, sometimes that get them involved and things move nicely from there.

I also have some music playing in the background. Match the music to the mood you want and things go very smooth.

This is just me and my experience.....so far I've made £0 from this hobby, so I'm no expert.

Good luck......and breathe (hee, hee, whooo. hee, hee, whooo)
