It's not like I am a great Buckeye fan...I graduated from Florida State and have no fondness for the Gaytors. Any opponent of the Gaytors is a friend of mine.

Nothing personal, Cindi...you know I like you. You daughter will have a blast at UF and will have a great degree to boot.

But...I refuse to root for "that other team" in the state (and I'm not talking about Miami).

There a great joke in Tallahassee (home of Florida State, for you lurkers):

. . .How do you get to Gainesville (home of Univ. of Florida)?...

I get the riff, Les. One side of me is a neighbor who roots for Gators, other side is Seminoles. When one looses, the other will run over & replace the flag outside his house! lol Its bad, they've had me take pictures a couple of times.

In Orange County (California) where I live, there are quite a bit of Florida State fans. However, I'm in Chicago at the moment and was watching the game at a sports bar across from my hotel. There were a few Gaytor fans, but mostly Big 10/Ohio State fans. When UF started putting the game away, I went back to the hotel. No sense subjecting myself to such a blow-out. :-)
