FINNNNNNNNALLLLLLLLY!!! A model other than myself!! YAY :)! Here are some portraits I took of my sister today. She has been playing drums for half her life and has suddenly learned to sing and play the keyboard as well. I took some shots of her for her website. Check out her new single if you have a chance and enjoy the pics :) :) :)

Shannon, you've done a terrific job here (as usual). Very thoughtful of you to help your sister, as apparently your entire family is artistically gifted (yes, that means you too)!
Keep it up, as you're both headed in the right direction!
(um - when do we get to see HER making silly faces for the camera?!) |

Shanny,
Great photos... I can definitely see these on a CD cover or liner.
I listened to your sister's song as well... I definitely like where she's going with it. I like the style of music as well. For a first recording, it's outstanding, with a lot of potential, but it doesn't feel quite 'finished' to me. Is your sister open to a couple constructive suggestions from a potential fan?

allright so you want an honest opinion? the pictures are allright, definatley like a few of them very much. But what I don't like is the copy paste in every picture of the text. It put me off wanting to look at the rest of the pictures...Yeah I get it! She's your sister...I even listened to the song for about a minute. Didn't really grab my attention...so.. I'm sorry, it comes across a bit too pushy for me. The pictures are okey even without all that comment.

of course i want honest opinions :) why else would i post them? thanks for bringing the copy & paste thing to my attention... i can see how that can come across as pushy. the reason i do the same little blurb in each comment box (as i do with most of my photo sets, and have seen many other photogs on this site do) is so that in the future if someone is randomly clicking around in my portfolio and happen to click on one of the shots they get the basic who/what/when/where/why.
