Any idea on how long the site coucil normally takes to rule on a photo.
I have asked for a legality ruling on a photo of my own that has been submitted. The ruling needed is on the editing processes

If you fail validation, they WILL contact you. If you passed, you just go on happily through your life with a smile.

hi ray --

i don't see any validation requests from you anywhere in the queue. are you sure it was submitted?

if you request validation on an image, it often takes up to 48 hours for everyone to view it and rule on it. most often you will only receive notification if something is amiss.

Challenge hasnt started voting yet tho and I may be away when voting closes, so thought I would get the ruling in advance. If there is a problem, I would just remove the entry

if that's the case, it's best to submit a ticket via the contact page. we don't see the requests until the challenge goes into voting. :)

Hi Should be there, I put in the request about 20hrs or so ago, and also uploaded the original.........If its not showing should I resubmit my request?

Did you submit it as an Administrative inquiry? If so, only the administrators can see it. If you want Site Council to see it, you need to select General inquiry. Probably best to resubmit your request.

Not sure which it would have gone under. When entering the photo for the challenge, I used the submitting panel on the left of the page. It doesnt have any choice there that I saw just asks for the original and your reasons for the submission

Ah... so you didn't use the contact page then... your reply to muckpond implies you had... That explains why we haven't seen it.

Your best bet is to send it again using the Contact page.
