Well, would that not be the quote of the year, considering the source?

And everything's a joke to you. Nothing that anyone else ever says is serious...but when it comes time for Nudi err, Judi to spout her mouth off, everything is as serious as a heart attack.

Get off yourself and learn some humility.

DP- Not that I'm agreeing with Judi's proclivities towards nudity, but being able to laugh at ones self if usually the highest form of humility. I think most of us, including myself, are laughable. It's when I can take a step back and laugh at all the silly machinations of my life that I actually find more peace and understanding of it, not when I start taking myself more seriously.

Judi - You're a sweetheart inside, I believe that. But I also believe you feed off of negative attention attached to taboo behaviors. With the taboo, comes a little revulsion and railing against that which is taboo. You should know this by now. What you desire to achieve is attention to you on the inside, but you separate yourself from some others because of what you show on the outside. I firmly believe that your art could be expanded 100 fold by determining within yourself to make your furthest explorations in to areas that you seem to avoid. By doing this, you will grow beyond yourself, instead of further into yourself. It's good to try new things, right?

Now take a step back, laugh at yourself for even posting this, and have a nice day.

Peace.

I thought maybe it was the subconscious influence of the current "Bible" thread ... : )

Just wondering why this thread seems exempt from the otherwise quick reactions of the censors who love to quote forum rules about calling people out and making personal attacks.

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was about The Clash.

That would have been better.

I just got here and haven't had enough coffee yet to make a considered response -- I don't know where any of the other "censors" are ...

In the meantime, cut the (personal) crap, please. That we don't respond immediately doesn't mean we won't -- and anything posted subsequent to this will probably be held to an even higher than usual standard.

I personally call out routerguy to personally call me out on who he is calling out that called out somebody else calling out other people.

It's not a personal attack to openly question why some nasty posts have been sitting here since last night.

I note that you never seem too busy to jump in and fire something off in my direction. Thanks for that.

I don't think I've picked on you for weeks : )

I really was just trying to respond to your question.

Also, it's precisely because I frequently post in the forums myself that I am reticent to censor others -- it would seem the worst sort of abuse. I would rather just remind people to behave themselves than to hide/edit their posts or have to give someone a time-out.

*sigh*

Can't we all just get along?

Ok, I come and go on the site... I see all the fights and BS and leave for a little bit. I grew out of the high school drama 10 years ago. I usually don't get involved because well... I had enough of my own drama here. I do however enter the challenges and have a good time... ok, sometimes I have a bad time and get my ego way crushed.

I have learned so much from this site. I have learned photo tips and tricks, I have learned to come out of my shell and think out of the box. I have learned that people will be people and you can't stop that. I have learned to stay out of said drama.

I do however have to say something in Judi's defensive. I love Judi. I admire her alot! I think it takes guts for someone to do nude photos. I think she has talent and is a great photographer. As far as the whole nude thing... Were you born with clothes on? I know I sure as heck wasn't. Being naked is a very natural thing and I don't see anything wrong with children being around naked-ness. They learn about their body and why shield them from what they were given? And it's not like she is taking nudes of her daughter!!!!

Don't be so hard on people. This site is supposed to be fun. This site is supposed to spark your imagination and get you thinking! Sure, people won't always get along... but why does it have to resort to name calling? Just let it die.

Now with that being said... I have no idea why y'all are fighting. But let's just have fun!

Judi.. I'll take my popcorn with Carmel and some chocolate drizzles. :)

I, personally, dislike you because you're a middle-aged woman who takes pictures of herself naked with animals and her little daughter around. It's repulsive...and you have a loud mouth...

Hey...she asked...I answered. Then you come running to her defense? Who are you anyway?

edit: oh...just checked your profile...sorry, you don't have enough posts or challenge entries for your opinion to matter to me. ;-)

I typed a big long response and then thought, no I'm not going to post it.

Dig your own grave of disrespect brother, I care not.

even though this is a "rant," it's still bound by the terms of use.

the very nature of this thread is baiting -- it encourages less tactful members to just "have at it" at individual members. i'm not surprised it's gone the way it has, as a thread like this can only spiral downward. it's unfortunate that it was even started.

for me to go back here and try to remove all of the "personal" attacks would be fruitless at best. instead, i am locking this thread as it serves little purpose.

--

for the record, the SC tries to stay as hands-off as possible in the rant forum. for us to come in here and clean up every squabble defeats its purpose in the first place. however, we will not tolerate blatant personal attacks.
