Hi, DPC. Some time around spring break, my boyfriend and I may visit Toronto for something around five or six days or so. I have been there on short trips before, but always with my parents and was generally younger than 15. I am trying to get some ideas of what to do and such...we are likely to stay in a hotel in the city. I've been to the CN tower before, but it seems like something that you have to see just because you're there, so I might take the boy to see it. And also interested in the zoo, and maybe the science center because I am a dork.
Is the CityPass worth it? From just a financial standpoint it seems like you come out on top even if I only hit half the places on the list.
Also, we won't have a car, so I'm not sure about transportation. Bus, subway, taxi? Or are a lot of things within walking distance from each other?
Suggestions for places to eat that don't cost $$$$$$$$$$ and pretty streets and sights to see will also be taken. We're not really big on the shopping scene so much, but I'd like to do a lot of walking around and taking in the city.
Will places accept US cash, Visa, should we have a lot of Canadian cash on us?
Thanks :)
