Rather than broad vistas of mountains, lakes, or fields, capture nature on a smaller scale; examples would include a copse of trees, a small waterfall, or an outcrop of rock.

Yes,that's a great one. Or, on a slightly larger scale, something like this.
I think the two examples are, at least in my mind, the sorta limits of either zoomed in or zoomed out.
