Can anyone tell me if there's a considerable performance difference between the Pentax AF360FGZ and the AF540FGZ. I'm looking into buying one for my camera... Or if there's another brand that's just as good and compatible with the Pentax *ist DL?

By no means am I a "professional photographer" so I don't need anything that's super fancy, yet I don't want to put money into an ineffective product. I'm always willing to put in more money for long-term investments if I'm going to get the quality. Once you start dropping hundreds, an extra hundred is negligible in my opinion.

My outdoor shots normally turn out fine, so I'll mostly be using the flash for "in shaded" outdoor areas and indoors for family photos. Namely my 2 and a half month old nephew, the new pride and joy of the family.

So thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out. =3
