I have a 20X24 canvas from Canvasondemand.com
The photo I sent in was better suited for this size and they upgraded and did a custom for me at no extra charge. Incredible work is the best I can describe them...super fast shipping as well.

From what I've learned there are two ways to do canvas prints. Old school is to print a regular paper print, stip the backing off and glue it to a piece of canvas via heat mounting. You get some texture and a real photo print, but true canvas wraps (where the image wraps around the wood) are not possible.
The second (and newer) method is inkjet printing on canvas (or textured paper/cloth). Here you get true wraparound capability, but possibly less durability, more fading - same issues one can get with inkjet prints. Simply Canvas will spray coat all their items to help alleviate this, but (to some degree) will change the look of the item compared to perhaps what you may be used to.
Simply Canvas does very nice work. Not the cheapest out there, but very good.

another vote for canvas on demand -- excellent quality, great customer service and fast delivery (though I must say, they are not located far from me, so that last point is probably effected.) |

I ended up using LucyArt.co.uk. They seem to offer exactly what I was looking for. I'll let you know what the quality is like when I see it in a few weeks.

I'd be very interested to hear what you think, I am on the verge of ordering a landscape canvass, just need to find who I want to order from |

I've used Canvas on Demand about 6 times, plus 3 sample canvases. All have been exceptional. They have frequent coupon/discount periods, which is nice.
Definitely +1 for them. |

Another vote for Canvas on Demand.
I just received 36 20x30" canvas prints from them. Even though I rushed the order so that I could get it in time for a show last weekend, they took the time to contact me before they printed some of them becasue of some issues that they saw. I had increased the canvas size so that I wouldn't lose the area around my subject to the wrap around. I used black for the extra area and they noticed that the pure black that I used didn't perfectly match the black background that I had throughout my images. I thought that my black background was as black as black gets and never thought about it not matching and I didn't notice any difference.
I would expect that most printing companies wouldn't even take a second look at the images and just print away.
I am extremely impressed with their dedication to quality and customer service. |

I just got my $25 gift card as well! Yay! =D
I have been ordering stuff for my home and studio, and normally I will go ahead and order the second at half-price, either for me at a different location, or for family or to sell. It's a pretty cool feature, be it gimmick or not... |

CanvasonDemand for me as well. Got the 25 gift certificate last week and I still have a 20% off coupon they gave me after my last order. They have made some tweaks in the studio sample program recently. It used to be your studio name and sample had to be on the front of the print. They now allow it in 16 font on the left or right edge (if the canvas isnt framed). Their sample program is an awesome deal. |

How "professional" do you have to be to qualify for this? Think I could use my DPC Prints gallery as my website reference? |

CanvasonDemand does a great job for me. Best match of color on my monitor to color on the canvas. I do send them large TIFF files in sRGB color space. For the PRO Login qualification, your state sales tax license works great. |
