I had yesterday interesting phone call. A young man asked me, do I take nude pictures. He found my number from Estonian photo internet site. I just wrote there, that I can make photos, if smb want. No word about nude.

Today I met this man; he is 10 years younger as me, looks good, hetero and ready to pay for photos.

My husband said, that I am craze. My friend, who is making nude local celebrity photos for magazine covers, said Ă¢€“this man must be weird.

My question for you is Ă¢€“ would you use every time a possibility to take nude photos (and get paid for that)? Or you prefer photograph your cat and dog and landscapes?

If the man wants to pay you to take photos and you don't mind taking nude photos, I'd do it. You might want to keep someone else around just because being in a room with a naked stranger could be a little weird.

Maybe he's applying to be a stripper and he needs portfolio shots, who knows?

(My cat doesn't pay well when I take his photo.)

we're all different, unique and beautiful. some people like pictures of themselves in nice turtle necks under an oak tree, some people like pctures of themselves naked on a pile of pillows. i don't think there's anything more weird or more normal about either.

i'd say take the job. its good to get practice shooting nudes anyway, and it will add a more artistic feel to your portfolio...

But your cat IS nude, right?

Go for it, just be sure you get the most important thing: make him sign a basic model release, which gives you the rights. Have fun shooting, nudes are really fun and one can do a lot with a nude body than just body landscapes.
Check a few internet sites on nudes, get ideas and enjoy!

Definitely do not do it alone. Maybe respect your husband's opinion, he knows you best. If you can talk him into going along with you and the client is willing to pay at a proper level, it may be a worthwhile experience. He should be willing to pay better for nude photography than for plain portraits.

There is one question more. My husband said, that ethical is, if after giving pictures to him, I have to delete all from my computer. What to you think? If we do not write any agreements, what is ethical, can I use them for my portfolio or only when I ask before? Or is good to write a agreement by my self before?

He is pretty shy and I am not afraid of nude people (or men).

From my experience, when you start taking money for your work you do it is your business. Take a little time, write an agreement before hand (can be altered if needed) so you can use the photos for your portfolio...have a talk with your husband about keeping the photos or at least work something out. They are you work after all.
Good luck!

You might be surprised how many people do want nudes done.

My girlfriend is at uni and we regularly get her friends asking me if I'd do them tasteful nudes, for their boyfriend or as they have ideas of becoming a model etc.

Until recently I only had a 35mm film camera and a basic digital, so used to shoot 35 mm. The deal was they buy the film, pay for the processing and simply do me an extra set of prints.

For me it was just a learning experience, and a lot of fun, so I do it for nothing.

It took me a second to see the URL link at the bottom there :-) I like them, they are very good. The first one is my favourite. I personally wouldn't have included the step on the right in the photo. Was the guy happy with them?

Thank you kiwi :)
I really do not know what the guy is thinking, I gave him CD and he is lost. I tried to get him with a phone, he do not answering. He promised to phone me yesterday.
Ok, it all is bit strange...

Oh oh! Did he pay you when you gave him the CD?

yes, he paied a half, but it is not a problem to me.

He wanted to pay. I wanted long time ago shoot a nude, but all my frends did not want it.

I had fun, but I need that others say smth about the pictures. If nobody do not say anything, it meens, pictures are bad...

Kinks the pictures are not bad at all, they are very good. It is just easy to overlook the URL link you pasted under the two thumbnails.

I took a drawing class this Fall, and, for the first time in my long life, I got do draw nudes. I was quite worried about it (I am older, I grew up in an environment where nudes where a "no-no", my husband is a minister, stuff like that), but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Drawing the human form was so much fun, so beautiful, and I think it improved my drawing quite a bit also. And I'm still married to a minister :)))

My problem is bit like of yours. I am my self a bit a politican, but we agreed with a boy, that i do not sell his pictures to pornosite and he do not say, when i will be a president, that i made those pictures.

President, eh? You go for it!!! I think any country would benefit a great deal from having politicians who are also artists.

I like that his body positions are vulnerable and have a sense of softness. You made him look very beautiful and yet sad almost. Its a nice expression. Im not so sure about the background...i think it distracts somewhat...but you did a very nice job.

Where can we see some of the pics? Blur the face and post some.
