GOLDEN CORRAL’S THIRD ANNUAL
2003 MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT
OFFERS FREE THANK YOU MEAL
TO NATION’S PATRIOTS
Monday night November 10th, 2003 from 5-9 PM.
Veterans Day is a celebration to honor America’s military personnel for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. This year’s Golden Corral 2003 Military Appreciation Night brings special meaning to all 400+ Golden Corral Restaurants spanning 39 states as we join together to once again offer all veterans and retired and active duty members of the U.S. military a Free “Thank-you Dinner Buffet and Beverage on Monday night, November 10th, from 5 – 9 PM.
Senator Bob Dole is supporting the Military Appreciation Night event through public service announcements, which encourage all veterans and U.S. military to participate and be recognized for their sacrifice and dedication to protecting our nation’s freedom.
The offer is strictly based on the honor system – no identification is required, and members of the U.S. Reserves and National Guard are also included in this special recognition offer.
An integral part of Military Appreciation Night is the Disabled American Veterans organization, the official voice of America’s service-connected disabled veterans. The DAV, which represents all America’s 2.3 million disabled veterans, their families and survivors, will have members at the event in all restaurant locations throughout the nation to distribute literature, sign up new members and volunteers, and accept donations in support of the DAV.
On Military Appreciation Night last year, an estimated 252,000 veterans and retired or active duty military enjoyed free dinners at Golden Corral restaurants nationwide. These meals translated into a nearly $2.5 million thank you from Golden Corral. Additionally, the DAV raised an estimated $241,000 for its organization during the event.

this is cool, but I wont partake in the festivities. 4 years of Navy food is enough for me and to me Golden coral is a 1/2 step above Navy food.
The Marines will probablly really enjoy it, as this will be high class dining to them. The Air Force will be insulted with such low quality food and the Army....well Im not too sure about them :). What does the Army do again???

BE Prepared to stand in line and Pray for a parking space.
My husband is retired form US Navy Last year we decided to go
cars were parked in places that were not parking places and needless to say a long line We dicided it was not worth it and drove through.
We figure we have stood in enough lines, at least that's the way it was here in Hamilton Ohio

Nothing but the finest for Marines! When I was a Logistics Officer at Parris Island I could feed a Marine three meals a day for a $1.97 total. Counting for inflation I bet I could still do it for less than a buck a meal. You want some grits with that Jarhead? No additional charge for the roaches in the SOS!
I don't think I'ver ever seen a Golden Corral in Michigan. Is that a southern chain?
Semper Fi,
