I was wondering the same thing. I have a cute thing to scan and send, but I'd like to see what others are doing. I've peeked at a few other teams and they share their card photos...can we? ...just to agree on a theme or style.

cool card pics brian - where is everyone else's? I want to see!

i sent one to John and it pretty much looks like my profile pic but in color.

now that i am a member i am seeing all the challenges I can enter and am now wondering how i am going to get any work done here. I really like the basic and minimal editing challenges because after i take a pic, I don't have a lot of time to spend on cleaning it up.

lol wildlife in northern ohio in winter - I'm thinking SQUIRREL! Wonder how many squirrel shots there will be lol

My last hope was the Bald Eagles that come to our area sometime in January. We drove up around the loc and dam and they are nowhere to be seen! I found out they will be here NEXT week! So we drove around a nature preserve and walked 2/3rds of a mile in the freezing wind to find NOTHING! barely a bird in the trees. I came home frozen and frustrated so unless something interesting happens tomorrow in the 6-8" of snow... I wont be entering that challenge. I did however get a fabulous minimalist shot. But read when I got home that you can't shoot in raw! I ONLY shoot in raw! So I guess I wont be entering that one either! UGH!

So quiet this weekend!
I actually came up with SOMETHING for wildlife. We'll see how well it does. Now I move on to Entry/exit challenge.

yeah i just finished up my wildlife too. going to work on "enter" challenge pic next. May submit what i have for minimalsm unless i have more time than I think!

I've been busy working on my systems this weekend so I didn't do any Wildlife-2, maybe for the "end-of-the-month-special-marathon". I got my scanner to work, scanned some photos/negatives on HP-5530. Since then my external firewire DVD-burner messes up the video whenever I turn it's power on.

I don't think Free-Studies or other Special challenges are part of the WPL-4 Side Challenges. Could someone verify that. In the past the "Regular" challenges included one for members and two mutually exclusive ones for non-members.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your nude body shots with tasefull jello for next week's challenge. I may shoot my bare leg for that one.

eeeg no nudie challenge for me. That would have to be a SP and that would be scareeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Waiting for the my match photo to die, got an entry in the wildlife (which is doing much better than my match), and have an entry in enter. Might do minimalsm too.

What are you guys doing this week?

mine just shipped today! i'm so excited.

24" iMac with 500 GB HD, 2 GB RAM, and 256 MB NVidia 7600 GT video. Aperture installed. And .Mac ready to go.

John - I see you sent a comment about color choices for the cards. Does this mean we will all have different colors? Because I don't really care what color my card is lol. Red, purple, blue? Go for the rainbow effect? Ooooh since we are a Motley crew - maybe we could go for a Grateful Dead theme and go tie dye? lol

I would like to have a purple on mine but a tie dye sounds kinda cool too.
I have a portrait almost ready to send off. Its not great but it will work.

I am planning on doing a nudie but not what anyone is expecting at all.

Hey, I love the tie-dye idea! I missed the wildlife challenge but on the way home I got a brainstorm of an idea for enter and shot a bunch just an hour ago. My battle photo did alright, better than my first challenge.

I am rushing myself to get things in for challenges so I reserved a small box in my lesson planning file to serve as a reminder and idea journal. I hope this keeps me thinking PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO...
