true story...next year will be the First Annual Third In a Row European Workshop, held in Canada. details to follow when I get home...

Really?!?!?! I thought really hard about Germany this year but it would have been a lot of money to dish out that could have been spent on equipment. If it was in Canada it would take a Natural Disaster or the purchase of a really nice "L" lens to keep me away. I look really look forward to hearing the details.

But I'm in Europe!! Makes it very much more convenient for me to attend. Still, if they have it in Canada, I'll be there.

Good try Cory! The problem would be keeping batteries charged...or just hang out at the ice bar I suppose.

U guys know that Iceland is right in the smack middle of Europe and North America so the only logical place to hold a GTG is right here :P

Oh wait, I have always wanted to go to Kanada, scratch what I just said :)

Or you know the Halifax area would be cool... They have an international airport and good old maritime hospitality. :P

I'm just trying to save money on the trip so I can buy some L glass... You guys should have it someplace central though. Toronto would be cool with me too I guess!

Nasti and me are just back from the trainstation where we dropped off Pedro and Roz. As usual the schedule was fucked, i.o.w.: we missed the first train because the ticket office wasn't open yet. Let's keep our fingers crossed that they get to their plane in time.

So now I sit in the garden of Casa Kapluggin, perfect wetter etc, but it is so quiet. I miss all of you already. :( Fortunately I have next big thing to look forward to as some of you know. :) That is also what has been keeping me from posting here and from showing new pics.

This were two crazy great weeks. Thanks to all of you. :)

BTW: There are apparently no plumbers or cleaning personell in Paris, because the only clean toilet is at Laurent's place (who also was a great host for us in Paris). I wonder if all those Michelin chefs clean their hands after they go to the toilet or if that is the secret of the French kitchen....

We expected that so we taught her some new words. :)

halifax would be very cool. a small cosmopolitan city, within easy reach of pristine wilderness, stunning seascapes, and alos has a thriving arts scene.

that, and it's 45 minutes away from me....
