I think I read something awhile back about the WPL site being down for awhile. I think it will be some time before there's a WPL5.

Oh, my gosh! I'm in love with this camera. I don't feel as if there is really going to be a huge learning curve, since I have only used manual settings on my G2 for several months now. The features that I am most excited about right now are the size of the viewfinder, the 1600 ISO and the BULB exposure settings. How 'bout you?
I am using the 17-40 mm lens and WOW! Can't wait to get outside when the weather is better and everything starts to green up. |

OK Gang, we start with tonights member challenge...
I wanted to tell everyone, Southern Gentleman has requested we use this site
WPL Forum
SO go on over and register there, we have a private thread..and I would suspect much trash talking will be in order..

You have to register for the site..then go to usergroups...from there you will find our thread..
Let me know if you find everything alright! |

ok...back in business...I am in Fruit/Vegatables and I am happy with it (which as we all know means nothing at score time haha)
And I have a shoot set up for tomorrow for music....

My personification score is at a 6.1544 at the moment. It's been awhile since I have had a 6, so I'm super happy! I think the pic is fun too.
Nothing for fruits/veggies yet, but I'll figure out something.

Hey there everyone! How ya'll doing?
Just for kicks I just ran the numbers on week one (SG hasn't updated the spreadsheet yet), and if I did the math correctly, we won!
Good job team!
So how's everyone doing for this week?
I have a 5.5481 in fruits and a 5.6279 in music at the moment.
Lorene has a 5.8585 in fruits and a 5.2 (boo, hiss!) in music.
Not too bad!
Oh yeah, anyone heard from Brian? It looks like he didn't get an entry in for week 1. Check in if you're out there Brian!

I dont think Sg is updating..for the time being WPL seems to be on hold.

Music is at 5.6...

Hi, all! That's terrific that we won our first round (no thanks to me).
My entry for Biology has been between 5.9 and 6.0 all day. I'd just love to get over a 6 on this one, since this is my occupation.
The upcoming challenges don't seem too difficult, but the weather around here has been awful, and I just don't feel like getting out all that much. Temperatures have been around zero and below all week. I have an idea for
Hate. What about anyone else? |

My music entry is at about 5.7...
I have an idea for street photography, but it is still -20C with the wind, so it will have to wait a bit, maybe tomorrow will be better
I am right now unemployed and this weather keeping me homebound is about to drive me completely mad!! So glad there is a break in the near future! |

hey i'm here. I've been sick for a couple weeks and then so busy catching up work that I haven't been able to think about my camera. I'm feeing better, some sort of strong flu or something, mostly head and throat.
I haven't had any camera problems though, Rae-Ann you probably got me mixed up with someone else. Only problem with my camera is that it's in its case too much lately.
Congrats everyone on this week results.
I'll see if I can do something this week. I like the 'street photo' challenge.
