Woo hoo!
But props to my TS buds who are kicking butt!
I used to think that I might qualify for TS. However, it appears that you have to have over 6.0 scores.
Hell, if I had a 5.4 it would be a personal best.
Maybe for all us 4.0 to 5.0 scorers, we need a Team Really Suck. |

I'm hanging on to a disappointing (for me) score; I went in a slightly different direction instead of entering another clouds & water image, and I had hoped for a high finish. I'll have a decent score, no problem there, but I have a higher emotional stake in this particular image so it is gnawing at me a little bit.
I'll survive :-) My "Fireworks" score more than makes up for it...

Fun having 4 challenges in the scoring box.
3 at 6 and one at near 7.
Free study was for me, and yet is over 6, 5 comments & 1 fav on it.

Well, if it holds up, it will be a couple tenths higher than my other ones, but still....
After the voting is over, hopefuly some people can look at this and tell me why it is so medicore. Whether it the subject matter that drove the score down, or on technical merits. After all, all my work is done on Dell laptop, and even calibrated, who knows what it looks like on more high end monitors...I made 10x15 prints of these and there are exceptional. Inquiring minds want to know:)
I want a six something just once in my life!:))

Slight thread hijack - pardon the intrusion...
We accept any and all at Team Suck who simply have a desire to shoot pictures and don't mind warped senses of humor. Wander over into the Team Suck thread, say "hi", and ask if you have any questions. And I do apologize about bemoaning my score. It really isn't that bad at all and I've received comments as to why it's there, which is a good thing. Seriously, c'mon over. We don't bite.

| My fingers are going to fall off, but I am 42% through commenting all of these wonderful free study entries. I probably will not take on a challenge like this again for a while. 480+ comments is much more than I first thought. |

So far I've made it from 6.27 after 22 votes to 5.73 after 172. Probably make it to the top row of my profile anyway :)

LOL. Uh, no. If you consistently break 6.0, you're more likely to be leaving team suck, not joining. :)
4-5 puts you right in our groove.
But more to the point, team suck is an attitude, not a score. Do you shoot more for your own likes than worrying overly much about DPC voters (at least some of the time)? Do you want to experiment with different things to see what you like? Are you happy with comments no matter which way they go?
If your answers are "yes," then welcome aboard. :)
That said, I seem to be having what we call a "momentary lapse of suckage:"

Well, I am not going to make it. Qwest has messed up my DSL, and I am connecting at about 60kbs. So basically I have $70/month dial up. They claim it was an earthquake or some bull that is causing the massive slow down.
I get Cable on tuesday, but I am afraid I will not be able to comment on all the free study picts. I was half way there. Dang. IMO best free study yet.

Likewise Jason........hope your service improves.....At least you dont have the probs we have here in NZ.....Here the major provider is Telecom who are now being forced into unbundling the local loop and allowing competition........they are going down fighting tho, with the service quality they provide, I think most here just want them to go down
