ok, what is digg? i went there, but i can't seem to figure it out.
the slow seems to be contagious - i caught a computer virus! ;-p

Trying to vote on the Free Study challenge and was wondering what was going on???!!! Went to make myself a cup of coffee and the same image was on still! Not going to bother until tomorrow... |

Should be much better now; L mad some changes that should help, hopefully no more slow-as-molasses this evening. |

The fact the image has the google ads, probably means they are diverting to a static page rather than building the page. It's better but still slowish on this end.

Still slow as molasses. I'm on broadband and some images are taking close to a minute to load. |

It is a little better, but still mega frustrating.
Pardon my ignorance, but isn't there some way to "unlink" them? |

Digg is one of these community sites where people submit articles and things of interest and members "digg" the item to increase its popularity. They have some sort of algorithm then that will cause an item to make it to the main page. It is an interesting site that I like to visit daily. The other one is //www.fark.com. |

Not without changing the URL, and Langdon is using the traffic do drive Ads now, which is making up for the bandwidth cost.
Personally, I think anything that gets the site more publicity is a good thing.
