That is very generous of you to offer assistance those who would like to enjoy being members. I'm sure that your generosity will benefit all of us with many brilliant images that we would not otherwise get to see. Sometimes even a small gift can have a great impact in the life of the one who recieves it.
sherpet for sure, and Makka or his wife -bec- may appreciate one. Illoosi0n who has lost her equipment more than once may also be a good choice. She is studying photography in school.

If it's a voting thing, put me down for sherpet no question the most deserving and the best investment for your gift.

I think tumitumi would be very happy if he would get a free membership. He's only 15 but he's pretty good. Here is his flickr site.

Yeah I'm actually sweet until September!! Cheers for the mention though! -bec- is due beginning of Feb though! What a great notion to offer up so many!

I like to say a very big personal "Thank You" to Jorge, re De Sousa for actually giving five lucky people, the wonderful chance to be given "Free DPC Gift Memberships", for 12 months.....

I would also like to say a very big "Thank You" to the members in this thread, who have put my name forward, to receive one of these "Gift Memberships".

I feel slightly embarrassed, but also ever so humble, with knowing so many feel, I deserve this honor.

I have contacted Jorge personally, to tell him that I have received an email yesterday with a "DPC 12 month Gift Voucher", from another DPC member, who wishes to remain anonymous.

I would like to take this opportunity, to personally thank them both for their generosity.

I am truely blessed, to be part of such a wonderful group of people, who not only love photography, but also care about people, just like you and me. Thank you.....

Wow! I just saw this thread and... wow! Thanks for thinking of me, Becky and thanks too to those who supported her nomination. It is true that I am a single parent and money is tight, thus the two careers. And though now have all of the equipment I need to follow my dream-job, it has taken me 4 years to do so with the help of a couple of loving family members. So I sincerely appreciate the fact that someone out there noticed my successes, I'm touched. As for the membership, I would decline it, but only because I know there are struggling photographers out there who don't know the benefits of DPChallenge yet and would benefit more from it. I know how much you guys help each other and help me, so I will gladly save my dollars and buy membership time here as for long as Langdon will take my money. :)
