i just realized i haven't entered a challenge since the november free study... i seem to be not picking up a camera as much lately, although i want to. i think.

what do you guys do for inspiration?
other than fly to amsterdam and photograph models? lol

I look through

ursula's portfolio, then go take a walk with my macro lens.

Read the challenge descriptions, look around. Or, pick my camera, drive to places. Or, go to the cellar, look into cupboards and boxes.

I feel the same way for the most part right now...and simply accept it as part of the creative process. You could always try writing in a journal...force yourself to write non-stop for about 15 minutes without putting down the pen...I can't remember the name of the book, but it offers such suggestions to help inspire creativity..
maybe The Artists Way or something...
personally I just try to break my daily routine, take a walk somewhaere new, stop and breathe and listen and look...not trying to photograph right away, simply trying to be more aware of what is around me...

You could always pop over and play with my kids while I go out and shoot some stuff if you need a change of pace!!!

oh man I didn't even make that connection...
Front cover of the local paper and you aren't inspired (nice shot too)...how do you think the person who escaped the blaze must feel...!!!!
