Sounds like both men were jack-asses... :-)

It sounds like there were other photogs as witnesses, and if it went down as he says, he has one heck of a case.

Oh he definitely has one hell of a case, but from the sound of the article, he sounds like a bit of a trouble-maker.

The law can make trouble as well.

Slippy, every time I see that guy staring you down, it gives me shivers. I think I would have lost all control of my camera at that point.

When I attended the Bert Monroy seminar and it just happened to be American Idol also present...when i snapped couple shot of bronze statue after they all went inside and just guys in black with earpieces were around..one HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE guy comes over said, "you takin pictures of me?" i said, "nope" he said, "good, cause i'm not camera friendly, got it?" i'm like "yeah buddy..." and I sauntered my merry way.

...and your bodily functions as well probably. :)

The issue with the story in the article, as with many of these rights issues is a double edged sword. I would be very concerned if I or my wife were a witness and their picture was plastered in the paper while OJ (or whoever the killer may be) is running around loose. I realize other photogs were shooting witnesses (no pun intended, but made me chuckle nonetheless), but I thought there actually was a law protecting witnesses from this.

legal or not...from my experience the bodyguards ain't fond of it...and if I'z witness, I wouldn't be...but don't ya wonder if the caution or offlimits yellow 'crime scene' tape has invisible sort of wall...that you can take shots of anything on public property that doesn't cross/penetrate the invisible shield of sorts? i just bottom of food chain...i dunno
