I got the EOS 350D Rebel XT with the kit 18-55mm :D

At some point you'll want to go to your 'Preferences' page and change your default camera. That is if you want the new Canon to show next to your username when you post, etc...

I didn't get a new camera, but I did finally break down and purchase a "real" tripod. Manfrotto 3021BPRO. It's a monster in size compared to my old cheapo. I love not having to stoop to look thru the viewfinder now! :D

I tossed one into Acronyms, and the voters are trying to toss it right back!!! :D If it hadn't been for WPL I probably would have skipped this one as my entry was the third choice/attempt.

I do have very high hopes for the upcoming open challenges - think I have one that may do ok. One can hope anyway, right? :P

I put one into the Acronym... didn't want to because it din't quite turn out how I had hoped, but I know we needed a score. It's pulling a 5.8, so hopefully it will fight its way up to a 6.

My Love is at 4.8994. That's a touch better than the 4.8087; hopefully somebody's got a better one, but that's a minor improvement if it stands.

Don't look like I'm going to get Ice entered. Do we have enough entries going in to either Ice or the Basic challenges to have four scores? My ice entry would be terrible, but anything would be better than a zero.

Ice isn't doing very well. Started out around 5.2ish but has gotten back down into my regular territory. It would appear that I just don't have what it takes to score well here. Oh, well.

For week 4 we are competing against the "DPC Pirates". The challenges that count for week 4 are 'Acronyms', 'Ice', and 'Low Key II'. Since those are all in voting stage I wish you Good luck!

Week 5 challenges are posted and ready for submitting. Those challenges are 'Furniture', 'Red II', and 'Alternative Medicine'. In week 5 we're competing against "The Buzzards".

After that it's off to the playoff rounds.
