Hehehe... Makka, funnily enough I'm actually a fairly regular reader (but I'm never averse to expanding my knowledge of the female orgasm).

I think I also saw that ad in another mag a couple of months ago - I'm not sure whether it was a mens health or something else.

Woohoo, I'll get something for my portfolio AND an article on female orgasms! SWEET!

It is a bit of a bummer that it was a micro sale... but two things have come of that... one, I get something to show in my portfolio, two... a newfound confidence in my work (and a nudge to go non-RF stock more)

I was thinking the same thing in light of the client I work with that just spent $80,000 for 15 photos to use for a year in catalog and print ads.

If your work is good enough to make national ads - you should get paid the rate comesurate with that -

I know you're good enough, we all know it now, are you brave enough to demand the real money? I hope so, it would be fun to see you go big.

Thanks Doug... and I do believe I may be stepping away from the microstock table a bit more.

This is a prime example of why microstock doesnt work. Pardon my chirp, I am new here, but I feel frustrated because its a fantastic photo and the extremely wealthy company has made a killing by not having to pay a great photographer top rates. It undermines our profession guys. Congrats Leroy. Wendy, New Zealand

Perhaps you could contact them and explain that you are the photographer for their advert....they might send you some free rubbers! ;)
