Greetings, all.
Later this week, I'm headed to Toronto, actually Brampton, to visit my girlfriend and her family for a week around the New Year. We'll be eating lots of holiday food, drinking lots of holiday drinks, and who knows what else.
Do any locals or past visitors have any suggestions of places to go and things to do while we're there? My girlfriend's family is new to the area (they're Romanian ex-pats) so they aren't even sure of good time-passing activities.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Craciun Fericit!

| Take them to a Stage show in Toronto. I was to see WICKED at the canon theater on the 23rd, it was Wicked. Tickets still available. |

The CN Tower is a pretty obvious recommendation. Very nice views from up there! Niagara Falls is only a 90-minute drive from there, and is really neat to see in the winter time, too, with all the ice that builds up around the falls. And Niagara-on-the-Lake is a really neat little community with quaint little stores, too.

Thanks, Alan. I think those places are on the list. There is also some little town that is supposed to be insanely gorgeous, but the name escapes me.
Maybe this trip will kill my camera and give me good incentive to buy another one.
