I only have PS Elements 4, and I want to start playing with HDR, it looks good on paper, but is it as good as it says it is? Thank You..

download the program and play around with it to see if you like it. I got an educator discount so for me it was well worth the $$$

check my portfolio, or maybe bear_music if you want to see it in full effect.. Its defintely a case of playing around with it, once you get the Over-the-top cartoon look out of your system, you can do some really amazing stuff with it.. |

If you're working with Elements, and you have a pretty good handle on basic PP (which you seem to), then yes it's worth every penny. Photomatix will allow you to do things you cannot even attempt with Elements. There IS a learning curve involved, but you can handle that. Go for it!
