strangeghost, that list is excellent! Thanks to you, now I have just the right thing to print out and use as a card for a friend who really appreciates the finer points of English usage.
For you Safari users out there, you may not realize that you have spell-checking. At least mine didn't come with spell checking turned on by default. Just look for Spelling in the Edit menu, check the 'Check spelling as you type' option. BTW, I think this spell checker is part of the core MacOS and available in all sorts of Mac apps, you just need to turn it on for each app. |

Hey Stranghost, I am having a hard time just spelling correctly.
How in the hell am I supposed to remember all these other rules?
Damn it, I need a full on drink now.

Just remember how to use the catastrophe mark correctly:
Use the apostrophe in it's proper place and omit it when its not needed.
