Halloween is the end of the week and I thought I would share a couple Hallowen Recipes.

First for all those of you who are carving out a pumpkin, roast your pumpkin seeds. They are really good roasted. Mix the seeds from one pumkin with 2 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine, sprinkle with salt and bake in a shallow pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes while roasting. Pour out on to paper towel and let cool. Store in an airtight container. (They are pretty good)

For anyone having a party or snack day at school here is a recipe for Goblin Goo...I just had this at a parents function this past week at school and it is really good.

1 small package of instant vanilla pudding
1 12 to 16 oz can of pumpkin
2 cups of milk
cinnamon to flavor

Mix everything together, chill and serve. Kids love it served in a hallowed out pumpkin with those plastic spider rings as prizes through the goo.

There ya go my two halloween recipes.

Now for a few party ideas...

Fill plastic food service gloves with popcorn tie shut with orange and black ribbon add a spider ring for accent.

Fill a plastic food service glove with colored water, tie shut and freeze for the a floating hand in the punch bowl.

Wrap a tootsie roll lollipop with a tissue and tie with black ribbon or yarn. Draw a scary face on it to make a ghost.

Take white trash bags and crumple up some old newspapers to make a ghost to hang outside in a tree.

Anybody else got some ideas or recipes for Halloween Fun?
