So, I decided to take the Shutterstock / IStockPhoto Challenge by uploading the same 30 photos to each and seeing how I progressed.

Shutterstock is winning, 11-0 so far after 5 days. Most downloads are of a golf shot:

Actually, looking at their differing business models, Shutterstock should yield more as the capped all-you-can-eat model is likely to be more preferable to buyers, is it not?

I think that new buyers who are still testing the waters would prefer paying little by little over buying a membership not knowing how much they will use it. But if you already know that you are going to need frequent access to lots of photos then shutterstock sounds like a much better idea.
