| I just downloaded 2.0 and now the bookmarks toolbar is always present, I hate it.. I can (de-select it) after I start Firefox, but if I close it, and restart, it appears again-- any help?? |

I have that version and I don't have that problem and can't seem to find anything to help you. Except have you tried locking the Toolbars after you have removed it?

Hmmmm...have you tried right clicking on the toolbar and then select Customize Toolbar. There seems to be a default setting there...as well as places to add toolbars..that might be what you want.

Ok....I just tried it. I had my Bookmark Toolbar on there. I right clicked on the toolbar and unticked the Bookmark Toolbar option. Then I right clicked again and selected Customize and then hit the Default setting. I then closed Firefox and reopened...and there was no Bookmark Toolbar there.
Voila!!
