Hey Davidus.... wanna sell me that 28-70 dude, Im gonna need it, Im gonna have to buy one anyway, maybe we can trade a few bits of glass and cash.. lemmi know man I will be looking at getting this lens very soon and you may want some of the lenses that I have available.. the only 1 im keeping is the 17-35..

ANYWAY!! onto some good news for us.. WE MADE THE PLAY-OFFS!!! yippeee
apparently it's the top 4 that go through in which case we cannot fail so I would like to congratulate the team on doing a great job and bonding together to produce good scores week after week... BUT!....

Now the hard work is coming so we have to dig deep in these next few challenges and pull out some top scores again because this is the KNOCKOUT stage.. if we loose we are OUT! if we win we get closer to the final..

Got my Grain shot in and I am very happy with it, no dressing up as a woman for me.... HA!

circles?... I been going around in bloody circles trying to find an idea.. Im shooting all weekend on this damn D1X, I hate the monitor on it.. REALLY BAD! but the pics are OK for an old beast.

got a circle shot in and to my BIG surprise its hovering around in the 7s but early days yet only 6 votes.. I was expecting to wake up to a 5.2

YIPEEEEE, I think my grain shot is way better, hahaha I bet I'll wake up up and see the grain shot in the 4s........ noooooo

keep me posted on the scores team, this is the knockout stages so we need the communication now pls

Great scores crew.. brilliant. my circle is 6.8333 for now after only 12 votes WAY Better than i ever thought posssible

Grain should be higher but might bomb too...

YAY WE MADE THE PLAY-OFFs dunno who we playing yet but if it is 1st V 4th and 2nd V 3rd then we might be playing outcast again.

This week was a bad week for me. A worse than average bad week.

Circle: 4.8889
Grain: 5.4205

My time is doing ok at 6.1729, but it doesn't count.

I hope we get another chance for next week. I am sorry I didn't help at all.

Well I turned my scores on to find that my xdress is at about 6.16 with 23 comments and 242 votes. With that many votes in. I'm guessing it won't be moving very far one way or the other.
I'm struggling with ideas for any of the three challenges this week. I'm on company travel for the most part and couldn't bring a camera with me. I will be back for the weekend but have a gig to shoot Saturday night. I might be able to pull a portrait or a multiple light shot out of it, I don't know. Monday and Tuesday are both out of the picture for any shooting. Anyone have any ideas for either of the open challenges?

Glad to hear it dude... I think we done enough this week to go through (not 100% sure) 4 of us are all over a 6 and I am over a 7 so we look good for this week. I hope we can get stronger next week to beat the next crew (probebly Serendipity).. whoever they are.. bring it on and we will destroy all in our path.

My scores are in the low under 5.5 again. :( Either way, life is happening right now and I will have to say that our cheerleader will take my spot next season. Sorry guys.. It has been a lot of fun.

Circles - 5.90 <---- YUCK!

I got a rather nice/weird portrait shot in and although it's a plan B shot is really nice.
My cellphone shot is in as well and Im hoping for a better score with that one.. it's a Plan A shot..

We will play Serendipity I think.. so lets pull out our best shots for this one and send the OUT the WPL4 and send US into the semi's

Well, I was able to get an entry in to the cell phone challenge. I hope everyone else got an entry in because this could really tank, or it could do well. It's pretty dark emotively and these type of images don't generally play well to this crowd. But, I shot it for me and not the voters and we shall see.
